Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

I finally got to see this attraction when we were in Disneyland last time.  I really enjoyed it.  Of course I love the Hall of Presidents too, but I think I prefer this one.  We actually only went because we were waiting for our reservation at Cafe Orleans. We should have gone sooner!

Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. Because I need another movie to be really excited about seeing in 2012.

I still think The Fantastic Mr. Fox is Wes Anderson’s best film, in my humble opinion. But this, this looks great. And for the people in the world who don’t get or like Wes Anderson movies, well, you people are odd and and I don’t get you, so, we’re even.

I’m stoked about this movie too.  Although the preview sometimes makes it look like a parody of a Wes Anderson movie.

I found this post because of the author’s stroller rant.  I’m learning all the ins and outs of renting a stroller at Disney World and it’s relatively horrifying.  I’m also a little bit scared about being a rantee instead of a ranter.  It will be my first time with a stroller, so I might commit some of the sins I have hated others for committing.  Nerve wracking!

You never know until you try, right?  :)
Getting to spend every day at the Animal Kingdom Lodge might be worth it!

Disneyland back in the days…

Wow.

Aw yeah.  Nostalgia all up in here.  Might have to stop looking at Caribbean Beach pictures for a while and go stalk some retro-bloggers.

Who knew Mickey was such a prude? ;)

Mickey’s not helping the image that Disney World isn’t romantic.

Liberty Tree Tavern for Lunch

Was reading a review of Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch and it got me thinking:  How many restaurants are there where dinner and lunch are completely different?  While the change isn’t as dramatic as it was when dinner was a character meal, it’s still a pretty big difference.  I mainly prefer the lunch, but that’s just me.

Lemonade Mouth

So I must be getting old.  I caught bits of the new “Smash Hit” Lemonade Mouth and I have to say that for all the sense it made to me it might as well have been teletubbies.  I get a kick out of Wizards of Waverly Place and some of the other Disney Channel offerings that aren’t targeted at my demographic, but this thing just left me baffled.  Anyone a big fan?

2011 Epcot Food & Wine Festival

So it’s time to start obsessing about the 2011 Food & Wine Festival.  While it’s always there in my consciousness, like a buzzing fly, we’re getting close enough that I can actually start obsessing now!  How wonderful!

It seems like Disney is running behind on releasing everything this year, but I’m pretty sure most of the booths will be the same anyway.  Plus I’ve gotten my plans pretty clear date-wise so it’s time to just sit back and fantasize!

Wedding Time?

Okay, I’m still going to characterize the idea of me getting married as “far fetched,” but I think if I ever do my wedding cake will be Disney.  I feel like lots of people would think that’s cheesy, but I sort of think all of their weddings are ridiculous too, so maybe it’s only fair.  Besides it’s important to have the things you love represented at your marriage, right?
